First Dumbo Trailer Reveals The Super-Cute Baby Elephant

Disney has released the first trailer for Dumbo, its latest re-imagining of one of its classic films. The first trailer reveals the very-cute Dumbo, and shows off his trademark big, floppy ears. You can watch the full trailer in the video embed above.

Dumbo is directed by Tim Burton, who previously made Edward Scissorhands, Big Fish, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and 1989’s Batman. It’ll be interesting to see how the new Dumbo incorporates some of the famous director’s sensibilities for a big audience.

Dumbo stars Danny DeVito as circus owner Max Medici, alongside Colin Farrell as Holt Farrier and Eva Green as the aerial artist Colette Marchant. Michael Keaton plays the bad guy, V.A. Vandevere who brings on Dumbo for a new amusement park of sorts called Dreamland.

Nico Parker and Finley Hobbins play Farrier’s children, Milly and Joe. They are tasked with taking care of Dumbo, the newborn elephant who is made fun of for his oversized ears. Eventually, they discover that Dumbo can fly, and this helps the circus make a comeback, except things don’t go to plan when Vandevere gets involved.
