The start of a new month means the release of some new games. Though January is usually a slow month for new games, Sony’s here to compensate by announcing the release of a host of new PS Now games, including God Eater 2: Rage Burst, Onechanbara Z2: Chaos, Project CARS 2, and more.
Headlining the list of January’s PS Now game offerings is Arkane Studios’ atmospheric FPS, Prey. Released in May 2017, Prey sees Morgan Yu use his newfound powers to battle against aliens and uncover the secrets that lurk within the Talos I space station. In addition to Prey, PS Now will get another FPS this month: 4A Games’ Metro 2033 Redux. Initially released in March 2010 before getting re-released in the Metro Redux collection in August 2014, Metro 2033 Redux follows Artyom as he attempts to save his home station from the dangers prowling in the darkness of the Metro.
Sony has also detailed December’s most played PS Now titles, in no particular order. First up is Hanger 13’s open-world game, Mafia III. Following that is Ubisoft Montreal’s action/hack-and-slash hybrid, For Honor. Third on the list is Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption. Ubisoft Annecy’s extreme winter sports title, Steep, makes the list, as well as Rebellion Developments’ Sniper Elite 4 and NetherRealm Studios’ Mortal Kombat (2011). At the bottom of the list is Firaxis Games’ 4X turn-based strategy game, Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution.
