During Google’s latest press conference, the company further detailed its upcoming cloud-based gaming service, Stadia. The show confirmed the service’s price, release window, and list of games launching on the platform. Among those games is Baldur’s Gate III.
Baldur’s Gate III is among the list of over 30 games currently confirmed to be available day one on Google Stadia. That list–which can be viewed below–may change as we approach Stadia’s November 2019 release date. Prior to this reveal, Baldur’s Gate 3 was only rumored to exist. Theories that the game might be real first popped up after Larian Studios, the developer behind Divinity: Original Sin and Divinity: Original Sin II, posted a teaser to its website involving the number three. Hints in the metadata of the teaser seemed to imply the game had to do with Baldur’s Gate, though, not a third Original Sin game.
Thanks to Google, those rumors that Larian Studios is working on Baldur’s Gate III have been confirmed.
